Dems Melt Down Over Vance’s Disneyland Trip

Vice President JD Vance took a trip to Disneyland with his family, and you’d think he declared war on California by the way Democrats responded. What should have been an ordinary family outing turned into a bizarre political flashpoint, proving again how obsessed the left has become with tearing down anything — and anyone — that challenges their narrative.
As if on cue, California Governor Gavin Newsom chimed in with one of the creepiest responses possible, tweeting, “Hope you enjoy your family time, @JDVance. The families you’re tearing apart certainly won’t.” The implication? That Vance’s policies are so evil, he shouldn’t even be allowed to enjoy a day with his own kids. The internet rightly called it out as gross, tone-deaf, and desperate.
Vance, to his credit, brushed it off with class: “Had a great time, thanks.”
While inside the park, Vance received cheers and support from regular Americans — “We love you!” was reportedly heard from the crowd. But that didn’t stop left-wing influencers from melting down. One viral moment showed Vance running uphill after one of his kids, a completely normal parenting move. Yet liberal activist Harry Sisson tried to twist it into a smear, posting video of the moment and calling it humiliating.
One influencer even claimed — with zero self-awareness — that Vance’s “run” had somehow ended his political career. The absurdity of the claim only exposed how hollow the Democrats’ attacks have become.
Let’s be honest: Democrats can’t decide whether masculinity is toxic or a requirement — but they’re quick to mock any Republican who shows fatherly instincts, even when it’s to keep a child safe. The reality is, Vance has nothing to prove. He joined the Marine Corps as a young man, served in Iraq, and has since become a best-selling author, senator, and now vice president. A brief sprint up a hill doesn’t make him weak — it makes him relatable.
Meanwhile, look at the alternatives Democrats are propping up: Kamala Harris fumbling through word salads, Joe Biden struggling with stairs and teleprompters, and Gavin Newsom trying to stay relevant with smug drive-by tweets. Compared to that circus, Vance looks like the adult in the room — or, in this case, the dad at the theme park.
The left’s inability to connect with normal Americans is on full display here. They think a father running after his kid is cringe, but parading drag shows in front of toddlers is somehow enlightened. They mock traditional families, but can’t understand why voters are fleeing their party in droves. This entire episode is just another example of how upside-down their worldview has become.
And that’s why they’re panicking. Vance resonates with voters not just because of his policies but because of who he is — a smart, grounded, no-nonsense dad who can connect with ordinary Americans. Democrats see 2028 on the horizon, and they’re terrified. If Vance runs, they know he won’t just beat them. He’ll embarrass them.
The left wants to turn everything into a political weapon — even a dad chasing his kid up a hill. But all they’ve really done is show us how unhinged they’ve become.
And voters are watching.
