Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard is making waves after dropping a staggering batch of declassified documents that she says prove former President Barack Obama orchestrated a plot to overturn the 2016 election results and sabotage Donald Trump’s presidency from the inside. Appearing on Fox News’ Hannity and Fox & Friends, Gabbard laid out a detailed case of what she called a “treasonous conspiracy” that aimed to subvert the will of the American people.

“This isn’t a partisan issue,” Gabbard stressed. “This is about the integrity and survival of our Democratic Republic.” The 100+ documents released Friday paint a damning portrait of Obama and his top intelligence officials—including James Clapper, John Brennan, James Comey, and Susan Rice—as they allegedly created a false narrative of Russian collusion. According to Gabbard, this manufactured intelligence was then used to justify an endless parade of investigations, surveillance, and ultimately an attempted political coup against a duly elected president.

Obama, she said, gave the directive. His intelligence chiefs, she alleged, dutifully followed orders—fabricating conclusions and shaping a narrative to fit a predetermined outcome. “President Obama delivered the conclusion that he wanted the Intelligence Community to reach, and directed them to find and essentially manufacture the intelligence to support it,” Gabbard said.

Gabbard didn’t mince words. She called it an “intentional decision” at the highest levels of government to ignore the democratic choice of voters and sabotage Trump’s presidency. According to her, the Russia hoax wasn’t the result of miscommunication or flawed analysis—it was a deliberate plan executed with precision, aided by a compliant media and political establishment.

The former Democrat congresswoman, now a top official in the Trump administration, announced that she has made a criminal referral to the Department of Justice. “I’m referring all of these documents to the DOJ not just for investigation,” she emphasized, “but for action.”

Trump, for his part, publicly praised Gabbard on Truth Social, writing, “Congratulations to Tulsi Gabbard. Keep it coming!!!” Conservatives across the spectrum have lauded her courage, with many hoping that this finally marks the beginning of long-awaited accountability.

Gabbard’s revelations include new insight into how the Obama White House allegedly manipulated intelligence assessments before Trump’s inauguration. She described DNI James Clapper as taking the lead on shaping the intelligence community’s final report to match Obama’s narrative that Russian interference had been decisive—despite internal dissent and conflicting assessments at the time.

Gabbard’s account aligns with previous concerns raised by congressional Republicans and Trump allies about the FISA abuse scandal, the Steele dossier, and the two impeachment efforts that defined Trump’s first term. What’s new, however, is the claim that Obama himself wasn’t just aware of what was happening—he was commanding it.

Asked point-blank if she believes laws were broken, Gabbard replied simply, “Yes.” But she also warned that it’s not just about legal repercussions—it’s about whether Americans can continue to trust the institutions that govern them. “The future of our ability to exist as the country that we know it depends on accountability,” she said.

The media, predictably, has been slow to report the full scope of Gabbard’s disclosures, with some outlets barely acknowledging the story. But conservative outlets and Republican lawmakers are calling for hearings and demanding a swift response from the DOJ.

The unanswered questions now loom large: Will Obama respond to the charges? Will the Department of Justice pursue indictments? And how deep does the conspiracy run?

If Gabbard’s explosive allegations are true—and if the paper trail holds up—this could become the biggest political scandal in modern U.S. history.
